Sea Otters Holding Hands Tee

A short-sleeve cotton tee printed at chest height with two sea otters floating on their backs in open water, paws meeting in the middle. The pair is drawn in fine hatched line-work — brown and cream fur against a teal swirl of water with white spray thrown off to one side. That is the whole design, roughly a hand-span across, and it is identical on all nine colours.

Straight answers

Fabric: cotton, and the maker will not commit further. The spec sheet gives the material as cotton and the construction as knit, then lists the fabric type as "Broadcloth", which is a woven term. Both cannot describe one shirt, and we are not going to invent a blend, a percentage or a GSM to smooth it over. It is a cotton knit tee of unstated weight. What we can weigh: 0.19 kg per shirt, packed.

Order a size up, possibly two. This is the one place the maker is unusually direct: the fit is stated as smaller than usual, and the chart is Asian sizing, which the maker itself says runs one to two sizes below EU, US, UK and AU. Take that seriously before picking your normal size.

The chart gives body length only — no chest measurement exists. Front length, garment flat: S 88 cm, M 90 cm, L 96 cm, XL 100 cm, XXL 104 cm, XXXL 112 cm (34.7", 35.4", 37.8", 39.4", 40.9", 44.1"). Every piece is measured by hand, so allow 1–3 cm either way. Nobody has published a width, so we cannot tell you one.

What we are not claiming

The maker supplies no colourfastness, shrinkage or wash-durability testing, so we make no promise about any of it. Its own listing files the shirt under women while describing it as suitable for women and men — we have not resolved that for you. And its spec sheet records the pattern type as "Letter"; there is no lettering anywhere on this shirt, so that entry is simply wrong and we are not repeating it.
