Minimal RGB Corner Floor Lamp

A single aluminium bar of light that stands in a corner on a three-arm base. There is no shade and no bulb — the whole column is the lamp, and it throws colour up the two walls it leans into. In a dark room the corner stops being a corner and becomes the light source.

Colour, brightness, cycle effect and speed all come off the handset. The RGB/IC strip inside runs single-colour, two-colour, three-colour and multicolour cycles as well as holding one flat colour, and it dims properly rather than just switching between presets.

Two sizes

• 155 cm (61 in) — full corner height, for a bedroom, living room or behind a desk setup. Ships in sections and screws together.
• 40 cm (16 in) — a short bar for a desk or a shelf, or one either side of a monitor or television.

Three things the manufacturer does not put on the front of the listing. No mains plug is included — you power it from a USB adapter or port you already own, and it wants a 5 V 2 A one to run properly. The remote takes two AAA batteries and they are not in the box. And the listing is titled as a music-sync lamp, but nothing in the manufacturer's specification or in any of the photographs evidences a sound-reactive mode — the documented controls are colour, brightness, effect and speed on the remote. We are not claiming music sync.
