Happiness Comes In Waves Tee

A loose cotton T-shirt with a single large print across the back. A breaking wave curls over a beach of leaning palm trees, gulls crossing a low sun, the whole scene held inside a tall arch. Around the top, in a heavy arched capital, run the words HAPPINESS COMES IN WAVES; below the arch sit the words BEACH · CHILL VIBES · CLUB and, smaller, IT WILL FIND YOU AGAIN. The drawing is inked in dark navy with a pale, chalky wave. The front is plain in every one of the maker’s pictures — there is no chest print.

The maker gives the fabric as 100% cotton and the cut as a loose, unisex short-sleeve tee with a ribbed round neck and a dropped shoulder, so it hangs boxy rather than fitted.

The maker labels these Asian sizes. Its own flat measurements, in centimetres:

• S — length 67, bust 47, shoulder 42, sleeve 20
• M — length 70, bust 50, shoulder 44, sleeve 20
• L — length 73, bust 53, shoulder 48, sleeve 20
• XL — length 75, bust 56, shoulder 50, sleeve 20
• XXL — length 77, bust 58.5, shoulder 52, sleeve 21

Worth knowing before you buy

• Asian sizing runs small against US and EU labels. Go by the centimetre figures above, not by the letter.
• Eleven colours are sold: orange, black, white, khaki, dark green, green, navy, dark grey, grey, yellow and red. The same back print is on every one.
• 200 g per shirt, shipped folded in a 28 x 21 x 2 cm pack — the maker’s own figures.
• The maker states no GSM for the jersey, so none is claimed here.
• Khaki in L, XXL and XXXL, and grey in XL, are down to single-figure stock.
