Donut Socks Gift Box

Two pairs of socks rolled, folded and stuffed until each one is a convincing donut, then sat in a window gift box so the box looks like it came from a bakery counter rather than a sock drawer. One is chocolate brown with pink icing and a yellow lattice drizzle. The other is white with orange icing and multicoloured sprinkles knitted into it.

They are ordinary crew socks underneath — middle-tube height, standard thickness, knitted rather than printed, so the colour goes through the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. The donut shape is how they are packed, not how they are worn: you unroll them and wear them like any other pair. The manufacturer's own photographs disagree about what the unrolled sock looks like, so we are not going to tell you and we have not pictured it.
