Cabbage Leaf Blanket

A blanket cut in the shape of a single cabbage leaf - scalloped wavy edge, printed veins running out from a pale stem, deep green at the tip fading to almost white at the base. It is not a rectangle with a cabbage picture on it; the outline itself is the leaf. Six sizes, one colour.

Straight answers

• Not for babies, whatever the photographs suggest. The maker's own sheet lists the age group as adults; its size chart nonetheless shows newborns wrapped in the two smallest sizes. We are going with the sheet.
• The maker calls it two different fabrics - flannel in the title, coral fleece on the spec sheet. Both agree on 100% polyester, knitted.
• Thin rather than heavy. Rated by the maker for spring and autumn, not deep winter. No weight is published, so we are not quoting one.
