Waterfall Backflow Incense Burner

QAR 53,54
Description

A little resin mountain with a waterfall of smoke running down it. A backflow incense cone sits in the well at the top and the smoke sinks instead of rising, running down the rock face and pooling in the basin at the bottom. Four designs, same idea, different scenery.

  • Polyresin, per the maker's spec sheet
  • Takes backflow incense cones - the hollow-bottomed kind, which is what makes the smoke fall rather than rise
  • Roughly 8-9 cm in every direction: a desk or shelf object, not a centrepiece
  • Made in mainland China

Four designs. Sizes are read off the maker's own size graphics, which are included in the photographs:

  • Bridge & Green Tree - stone arch bridge and a tiled-roof house, about 9 x 8 x 5.9 cm
  • Crane & Pink Blossom - a white bird and a pink blossom tree, about 8 x 8.8 cm
  • Pagoda & Red Blossom - a red flowering tree and a blue-roofed lantern, about 8.9 x 8.4 x 6 cm
  • Bird & Yellow Tree - a white bird, a yellow tree and a red-roofed house, about 8 x 9 x 6.7 cm

The maker does not confirm whether any incense cones are included with the burner, so assume they are not. The manufacturer also lists cones on their own; we do not stock those, and the cone packs shown here are marked unavailable.

It burns real incense, so there is real smoke and a hot cone. Keep it off anything that marks and away from anything that catches.
