Victorian Peeping Portrait Frame
QAR 61,70Description
An oval black frame with someone already living in it. The printed portrait sits low in the opening, so all that clears the bottom edge is a mop of dark curls and two very steady eyes. Everything above them is empty shadow. Hang it in a hallway and wait for a guest to notice it noticing them.
Straight answers
- No easel stand. The back has a sawtooth hanger only. Shelf photos have it propped.
- It's small — just over 13cm tall. Palm-sized, not a statement piece.
- Generic period-style artwork, not a reproduction of any named painting or artist. The maker doesn't say whether the insert can be swapped for your own photo, so we can't promise it.
