Tree Frog Fridge Magnet

A tree frog, splayed flat with its toes spread, stuck to the fridge door. It is moulded with the fine ridged layers of a 3D print, so it catches the light in bands rather than reading as smooth plastic, and the big rimmed eyes sit right on top of the head where a real tree frog's do.

There is a magnet in the body. In the maker's own photographs it holds a paper note flat against a dark steel door, and it grips the top edge of a laptop lid and a cabinet corner the same way.

Details

• About 12 cm at its longest — that figure is the maker's, printed on the photographs
• About 30 g
• Three colourways: blue-green, green, and purple-green
• Each is a single moulded piece — no batteries, no assembly
• For a fridge, a steel cabinet, a whiteboard, or any magnetic surface

The colour runs in gradients through the body, so the exact point where one colour turns into the next varies from frog to frog and will not match the photographs precisely.
