Melting Shelf Edge Clock
QAR 98,10Description
A wall clock that has given up holding its shape. The top half keeps a rounded face with Roman numerals; the bottom half sags off the edge of whatever you sit it on and hangs there. Put it on a shelf, a mantelpiece, a desk or the corner of a cabinet and let the melted end drape over the front.
It works either way up to a point — there is a keyhole on the back if you would rather hang it flat on a wall, but it looks like the joke it is when it is draped over an edge with the drip pointing at the floor.
Details
- About 18 cm tall, 16 cm wide and 12 cm deep once it is draped over an edge
- Plastic body with a painted finish — gold, black or mirrored silver
- Roman numeral face with black hands and a setting knob at the top
- Runs on one AA battery, which is not included
- Keyhole on the back for hanging flat, or stand it on a shelf edge
- About 500 g
The three finishes are painted, not plated metal, so the silver reads as a mirror from the front and the gold is warm rather than brassy. There are only a handful of each left with our manufacturer.
