Frog Face Bucket Hat

QAR 54,42
Description

A cotton bucket hat built as a frog's face. Two padded discs stand up off the crown as eyes — white with a black starburst pupil, ringed in the same colour as the hat — and a long curved smile with a stitched nostril at each end is embroidered across the front panel. The crown is low and softly domed, the brim short and turned down.

It is an ordinary wearable hat rather than a costume piece: the eyes are stitched-on fabric appliques, not plastic, so they squash flat in a bag and spring back. Inside, the seams are taped and an open mesh panel sits across the top of the crown.

Details

  • Manufacturer-stated material: cotton
  • Applique eyes and an embroidered smile — no print to crack or peel
  • Six colours: green, yellow, orange, pink, black, khaki
  • One size — head circumference about 56–59 cm
  • Crown about 9.5 cm deep, brim about 6 cm wide
  • About 90 g

The manufacturer also files this as a fishing and sun hat. We are not repeating that: nobody has given us a sun-protection rating for the fabric, so treat it as a hat that looks like a frog, which is the entire point of it.
